Description: Postdoctoral and post-masters trainees may choose to be considered for a platform presentation to be judged for the PARC Award. Members of the NCSOT Executive Committee will select up to three postgraduate trainees to give platform presentations (15 min PowerPoint presentation; 12 min with 3 min of questions) at the NCSOT annual meeting. Abstracts selected for platform presentations will demonstrate outstanding clarity in methodology/approach, uniqueness/creativity, thoroughness of investigation, soundness of judgment in interpreting results, and relevance. If NOT selected, you will automatically be entered into the "Poster Competition" unless you do not wish to present a poster at the NCSOT annual meeting.
Eligibility: You must be a postgraduate trainee (i.e., postdoctoral or post-masters trainee within 5 years of graduation), and a member of the NCSOT Regional Chapter. Trainees with a pending NCSOT regional chapter membership application may be considered at the discretion of the NCSOT Executive Committee.
How to Submit an Application: Please use the NCSOT Abstract Submission Template to prepare your abstract and submit it using the SOT Apply platform. Please submit your abstract as PDF file using the following naming convention: “NCSOT2025_PARC_LastName.pdf”. All abstracts must be submitted through the SOT Apply platform to be considered for the PARC Award.
