The SOT Hardship Relief Award is intended to support Society of Toxicology members enduring hardship due to unexpected disruption in employment maintain their engagement with the Society. Recipients of this award may request support from the Society to continue their engagement in a variety of ways including:
- Waiver of SOT membership dues
- Coverage of Annual Meeting registration fees
- Financial assistance to attend the Annual Meeting
Note: Eligible applications for this award will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis.
Criteria for award:
- Full or Associate Member of the Society since January 1, 2024
- Attendance at recent SOT Annual Meeting(s)
- Attestation of continued membership in the Society
- Unexpected employment termination since January 1, 2025 or later, and continued unemployment upon receipt of award
