Description
The NESOT Student Research Award is a Travel Award given to graduate and undergraduate student members in the NESOT Regional Chapter. The student must be a member of NESOT and have a primary affiliation with an institution within the geographic region served by NESOT to be eligible for this award: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Registered students from other SOT Regional Chapters or students not currently registered as a NESOT student member are ineligible.
Students should upload their membership application (if not already a member), abstract, and a letter of support from the applicant’s Major Advisor as a single PDF.
Prize Levels: Up to 5 travel awards ranging between $500-$1000 depending on funding availability.
Notification Process
Award winners will be notified in January and awards will be presented to the top 5 applicants at the NESOT reception during the SOT Annual Meeting.
