MSS Toxics Metals Specialty Section Trainee Paper of the Year Award

Description:

The NEW MSS Trainee Paper of the Year Award is given to a peer-reviewed publication published by an SOT-Metals Specialty Section member (first and/or last author) during the preceding calendar year (12/15/2024 – 12/15/2025) that has made a significant contribution to the field of metals toxicology, as determined by the MSS executive committee. The first author must be a student or postdoctoral SOT member and either the first or last author must be a Metals Specialty Section member. This award is supported by MDPI.

The nomination letter must include the following as a single PDF document:

  1. A one-page summary of the paper's contribution to the science of metals toxicology
  2. Confirmation of MSS membership
  3. The citation for the article for which the nomination is being made.
  4. A copy of the publication

This award will be presented to the author(s) of the publication at the Annual meeting with the first author receiving a $500 cash award, sponsored by Toxics AND a 1300 CHF voucher for APC deduction in Toxics (valid for 1 year).
