Description:
The NEW MSS Trainee Paper of the Year Award is given to a peer-reviewed publication published by an SOT-Metals Specialty Section member (first and/or last author) during the preceding calendar year (12/15/2024 – 12/15/2025) that has made a significant contribution to the field of metals toxicology, as determined by the MSS executive committee. The first author must be a student or postdoctoral SOT member and either the first or last author must be a Metals Specialty Section member. This award is supported by MDPI.
The nomination letter must include the following as a single PDF document:
- A one-page summary of the paper's contribution to the science of metals toxicology
- Confirmation of MSS membership
- The citation for the article for which the nomination is being made.
- A copy of the publication
This award will be presented to the author(s) of the publication at the Annual meeting with the first author receiving a $500 cash award, sponsored by Toxics AND a 1300 CHF voucher for APC deduction in Toxics (valid for 1 year).
