Description

The Mechanisms Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology is pleased to announce the creation of the Career Achievement Award at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology. Mechanisms Specialty Section members are invited to nominate their colleagues. Self-nominations are also welcome. All nominations, if not selected upon first submission, will be retained for 3–5 years for subsequent consideration.

Requirements:

1. The nominee must be a member of the Mechanisms Specialty Section.
2. A current CV of the nominee.
3. Two letters of recommendation from members of the Mechanisms Specialty Section outlining the research accomplishments and service of the candidate.

The materials must be submitted as PDF files. Applications deadline is no later than December 1.

Selection of the awardees will be based on the strength of the mechanistic focus of their research and letters of recommendations. Recipient will be announced at the Mechanisms Specialty Section business meeting at the SOT Annual Meeting.
