The Medical Device and Combination Product Specialty Section (MDCPSS) Student Achievement Award recognizes undergraduate and graduate student research accomplishments. A committee appointed by the MDCPSS leadership will select recipients of the award based on the scientific merit of a medical device or combination product-related abstract. The abstract must be based on the student’s research and must be accepted for presentation at the Annual Meeting. Each Student Achievement Award recipient will also receive a plaque and an invitation to the MDCPSS reception held during the Annual Meeting. Each award recipient will give a 5 minute overview/presentation at the annual reception.
The award recipient will receive a plaque and monetary award to help support travel to the SOT Annual Meeting, to be given at the MDCPSS reception held during the Annual Meeting.
