Description
The MASOT Student Achievement Award is a $1,000 award that was developed to recognize significant achievements of MASOT doctoral student members. Criteria that will be considered for this award include academic excellence, outstanding scientific achievement in the field of toxicology, and leadership and service to SOT, MASOT and the applicant’s academic institution.
Criteria:
- Current MASOT member
- Enrolled in an accepted Toxicology or Pharmacology Doctoral Program
- Intention of submitting a 1st author abstract for SOT 2026
- Overall 3.5 GPA (from a minimum of 2 semesters/1 year in a doctoral program)
The award is based on a review of a full, current CV, which should include abstracts, presentations, publications, awards, and evidence of leadership at MASOT, SOT, or home institution. One letter of recommendation is required (two letters are strongly suggested). Recipients of the Student Achievement Award are ineligible to apply again in subsequent years. Past unrecognized applicants may reapply each year.
Submit CV, transcript, and letter(s) of recommendation through this application portal. The award will be presented at the MASOT Fall Meeting. Attendance at the meeting is expected.
