Description

Any paper published in a peer-reviewed journal during the calendar year prior to the SOT Annual Meeting is eligible for the Best Paper Award. Papers should illustrate techniques or approaches that are likely to significantly advance the field of in vitro and alternative methods. One author must be an IVAMSS member. The first author of the winning paper will receive a plaque and an invitation to the IVAMSS reception held during the Annual Meeting. Applicants must be IVAMSS members at the time of application to be eligible for the award. Any paper published in a peer-reviewed journal during the calendar year prior to the SOT Annual Meeting is eligible for the Best Paper Award. Please review the general IVAMSS award criteria above.

Applications must include a single PDF document containing materials in the order indicated below. The file should be named as follows: MEETING YEAR_IVAM Best Paper_LAST NAME (e.g., for 2025 Annual Meeting: 2025_IVAM Best Paper_MCCULLOUGH)

1. One-page document explaining the impact of the submitted/nominated paper in advancing the field of in vitro and alternative methods.  The document should be in 11-point Arial font with one-inch margins.
2. PDF version of the paper including supplementary materials that were published with the paper.
