These awards are made possible by the Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti Research Excellence in Immunotoxicology Award Fund of the SOT Endowment Fund. This cash award will assist graduate students or postdoctoral scholars to attend the SOT Annual Meeting and present their research. For full consideration:

1. Applicants need to be ITSS members (pending applications are also accepted).
2. The original abstract submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting, and the nominee plans to attend the meeting.
3. A letter of support from current advisor and/or employer indicating the individual's contributions to Immunotoxicology (or a closely related discipline) and potential future contributions to the discipline.
4. Up-to-date CV
5. A letter from the applicant on how attendance at SOT will contribute to their career development in Immunotoxicology.

Applicants need not be a member of SOT, but those who are members or who are in the process of becoming members will be given preferential consideration.

Final decisions will be made by the ITSS President, last three ITSS Past Presidents, the Vice President, and Vice President-Elect (chaired by the Vice President). The number of awards will be dependent on outstanding submissions and at the discretion of the Awards Committee and ITSS leadership. An engraved plaque and cash award will be presented to the recipient of this award. Recipients of this award may not receive the award more than once.
