Required Documents:
1. Original abstract submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting.
2. Letter of support from your mentor, which should include:
- A description of the student’s specific contributions to the project
- The scientific impact and relevance of the work to immunotoxicology
- A statement of support for the student’s application for the selected award
3. Extended abstract (maximum 1 page, 11pt font, ≥0.5-inch margins) including:
- Detailed description of the project
- A description of your role in the research
- The significance of the project to the field of immunotoxicology
- Up to two relevant figures may be included below the text (does not count towards the 1-page limit)
Review Criteria:
- Quality and clarity of the extended abstract
- Scientific rationale and significance of the research
- For the RIFM award, emphasis should be placed on how the use of NAMs advances exposure science, improves understanding of material composition, or contributes to risk assessment
