IRSS Postdoctoral Award

Description

An engraved plaque and cash stipend ($500) will be awarded for the best abstract presented by a postdoctoral fellow in the field of respiratory/inhalation toxicology.

The nomination should include:

  1. A copy of the Abstract submitted to the Program Committee.
  2. A letter of nomination from the candidate’s sponsor.
  3. A short statement (300 words or less) submitted by the postdoc that describes the rationale for the study, the significance of the results, and the nominee’s role in the work and how this will influence their career goals.

Nominees must be members of the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section.

Each sponsor can only nominate one postdoc for this award category.
