Description
An engraved plaque will be awarded to the author that applied for the award . The paper must be published in a peer-reviewed journal during the calendar year (Jan 1–Dec 1) prior to the annual meeting of the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section at which the award will be presented.
To be eligible for the award, the awardee (author that nominated the paper) must be an SOT member; additional preference will be given to Specialty Section members. The nomination should provide:
- A full citation of the paper,
- A short statement (<1 page, single spaced, normal margins, Arial font 11) on letterhead of the value of the research to the field of respiratory/inhalation toxicology and the originality, scientific quality, and impact of the paper.
