Description: The Carcinogenesis Specialty Section (CSS) invites postdoctoral researchers to submit their abstracts for competition for the Environmental Carcinogenesis Merit Award. This award is made possible by the Environmental Carcinogenesis Research Fellowship Fund of the SOT Endowment. One postdoctoral researcher will be selected and will receive $1,000 and a plaque. The award will be announced during the CSS meeting at the SOT Annual Meeting.
Eligibility requirements: Must be a postdoctoral fellow within their first 3 years of training. Work must be related to the field of carcinogenesis. Note: Applicants do not need to be CSS members to be eligible for this award.
Application requirements:
- A copy of the SOT research abstract.
- A copy of the postdoctoral fellow’s current CV.
- A letter of recommendation from the postdoctoral fellow’s major advisor
