Description
The Battelle Postdoctoral Award in Biotechnology will recognize a postdoctoral researcher whose work, as demonstrated in a poster or oral presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting, contributes to the field of biotechnology. A plaque of recognition and monetary prize ($500) will be awarded to the winning nominee. This award is sponsored by Battelle Memorial Institute and will be presented to the winner at the BTSS reception held during the SOT Annual Meeting.
Nominations should include:
- A copy of the abstract of the nominee’s presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting
- The nominee’s curriculum vitae
- One letter of support that clearly describes how applicant’s work contributes to the field of biotechnology
Determination of the awardee will be by the members of the awards committee.
