Description
Each year, students of Arab origin will be given an award for their presentation at the SOT annual meeting. Winners will receive a plaque for outstanding scientific research in the toxicological sciences. The ATA-SIG awards committee will determine the number of awards presented and the winners each year. By default, applicants will be considered for DR. BURHAN GHANAYEM Outstanding Graduate Research Award.
To be eligible for this award, an applicant must/must be:
- A graduate student of Arab origin
- An SOT and ATA member
- Submit a copy of the SOT-accepted abstract, including SOT Abstract Number
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a mentor (not to exceed one page)
- Submit a current curriculum vitae
- Have not have received an ATA-SIG award in the same category within the previous two years
