Description
The ATA Distinguished Postdoctoral Research Award will be presented to a postdoctoral fellow who has demonstrated outstanding scientific work to advance our understanding of toxicology. The selected postdoctoral fellow will receive a certificate in recognition of their contribution to the toxicological sciences that embodies the ATA-SIG mission.
To be eligible for this award, an applicant must/must be:
- An applicant (postdoctoral fellow or postdoctoral junior tenure-track faculty member) of Arab origin attending university or college
- An SOT and an ATA member
- Submit a copy of the SOT-accepted abstract and the abstract number
- Submit two recommendation letters (no longer than one page), one of which must be from the applicant’s research advisor or mentor
- Submit a current curriculum vitae
- Not have received an ATA-SIG award in the same category within the past two years.
